Week 23 Often Talked About

But Seldom Photographed

As we move into week 23 we hear these words we have heard in past weeks.

We Have Reached A Fork In The Road!

So! What’s Up With  this fork?

The first thing that comes to mind is: Don’t use it! If someone left it behind they probably realize it has less value than the knife and spoon. Hmmm….Not to mention how unsanitary it would be.  In survival mode a knife serves two purposes. A weapon to get food and a tool to cut it up. Actually it can serve a third depending on it’s tip. It can act as a fork to pick up one’s food. Then there is the spoon. No holes or slots like the fork so it is easier to scoop up food or water. So it is no wonder that we hear of this so often.  Then again I could be wrong!

The fork in the road is a turning point. Like water, do we take the path of least resistance or do we defy gravity and seek the path of more effort? Be mindful though that you don’t get lost along the way or you may find yourself going in circles destined to repeat the past.circle Now just to make sure, we don’t want to get confused between path of least resistance witfork in the road poem2h the Law of Least Effort. Sounds like they are the same but they are not. Mark and the Crew have given us more tools now that we are on the home stretch. There are three parts to this law. Acceptance, Responsibility and Defencelessness.

I practice acceptance. Today I accept people, situations, circumstances and events as they occur. I know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be.I do not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are in this moment, not as I wish they were.

Having accepted things as they are, I take responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and that includes myself). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise and this alertness to opportunities allow me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

Today my awareness remains established in defencelessness. I relineish the need to defend my point of view. I feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I remain open to all points of view and am not rigidly attracted to any one of them.

Appleying the Law of Least Effort means Living each day with Acceptance, Responsibility and Defencelessness.

WOW! Combine these with the 7 Laws of the Mind, No Opinions, Emerson, Og and Haanelb and you are armed to not fail. So What are you pretending not to know? What does the person You intend to become do next?

I take a look back on the past few weeks and as I realize I am progressing I also have a ways to go. I just about choked on the Law of Least Effort. For each day my button gets push and fighting that beast with the tools I had was not easy to say the least. NOW! With this new tool it is a lot clearer. I won’t say a lot easier right now but certainly I am ready to wheel the tool before the button is fully pushed. Considering that one of my biggest challenges is Mother’s pessimistic ways and her short term memory, I need to be on guard 24/7. Yup! Acceptance in play, 100%.

Which Path Is Yours?

I Always Keep My Promises!

Remember these words?

You should! Well I made a promise some blogs back when we where introduced to the Guy/Gal in the Glass. Who recalls me stating that after two weeks of saying this in the mirror that suddenly one day I found myself singing the words? It felt odd saying the words to the guy in the glass and once put to a tune, all felt like it was meant to be.

So, my loyal friends and masterminds that promise was as soon as technology and the universe where to align themselves in my world I would share this with you. My Tribe mastermind and Guide along with a business partner have had the honour of hearing it. Now I have recently edited to fit in with what Mark and our Guides keep telling us to do with our DMPs. “Keep It In The Present Tense” So sit back, grave a beer and DON’T expect to hear Tom Jones or the next Canadian Idol!

I Bring to you my version of the Guy In The Glass.

I LOVE the guitar picture for your song! I can’t wait to hear it. Music for me has been indispensable part of this process. It seems to me that caring for your mother will be your most expansive teaching in being of service. I have seen raising my son this way as of recent and the feelings of frustration and resentment for not being appreciated have melted away. Not all the time, mind you, but enough to take note of it and keep focusing on it persistently. Much Love to you, Danny. Thanks for the follow BTW

    Thanks Jen.
This coarse has certainly tested me. I am so grateful!
Not sure why my guitar link works for some and not others. Did you click on the guitar? Also if you scroll up to Fawn’s comment you will see where Robert attached the link from Twitter. It works all the time.

Eleanor Norton - March 21, 2016

Yes you have made progress since the beginning of the class. You are still here in the home stretch. We didn’t get to be the way we are in 6 months so I am certain there is still work for all of us to do.

    dannycl - March 24, 2016

    Thanks Eleanor.
It certainly kept me occupied over the winter. Good to see you here also.

Dan you ARE the Man!! So looking forward to hearing you sing from your heart! It may be my internet connection, cuz it’s not connecting for me now~ I’ll try again in a bit. I’m in great appreciation for how you are allowing yourself to be yourself and have what’s truly in your heart! Yiiipppeeee!!! Awesome Blog!

    dannycl - March 20, 2016

Hey Fawn! How is my fav guide?
That is my first post to YouTube. I had a glitch but only temporary. It seems a bit sad that know I am warming up and the coarse is ending. Looking forward to the next step.

Fawn, Try this link off Twitter works everytime

I heard it but I saw courage. I was Happy because my friend completed his promise to all. I saw courage, & Honor. Then I read his post, and I saw my friend grow from the day I first met him. I would say that was a tremendous Achievement, wouldn’t you???

I was sad with the news of your Father. Yet I would celebrate his life and his Love for all eternity If I were you. Love is eternal and will carry you through this. of most difficult times.

masterkeyrea - March 20, 2016

Dan, My Friend. The song and the Courage to complete it and keep your Promise to all is stupendous and absolutely marvelous. You just made me happy after a few hours of crashed hard drive and recovering it. You are doing great and will continue as the class end and our new journey begins. Just Love you Mom as do I, and all the funny things they do for whatever reason they do it just accept that and Love them all the more for it. Love is eternal and will never pass away as do we all.

Blessing and continued Growth in all you desire, You deserve it and have earned every moment of Joy for doing all you have done.

    dannycl - March 20, 2016

Thanks Robert! In keeping my promise to All I do hope All get to hear it. Yes courage was the big one here next to following through. Now if I was to do this in a classroom setting the outcome may have been a lot different.
And that Law of Least Effort! I only wish someone had slapped me up the side of my head years ago. LOL Even today while mother and I were out I found the usual feeling trying to surface when she said, “you never told me that” when I know I did yesterday. I headed that sucker off at the gate before it could put it’s thoughts into action.

Oh Danny boy… those pipes 🙂 You do read your lessons well and have an intriguing way of serving them to us. Your blog posts continue to inspire, to connect all we’ve learned from the beginning and bring the whole bowl… down to present moment for us to enjoy and digest, and how you help us swallow the bitter parts with just a little sugar in your humor. You have such a gift in your writing, in serving us your understanding.

And great job on the Guy In the Glass. I swear that poem takes on a whole new context, delivered in song in your way.

Thank you, and have a magnificent day!

    masterkeyrea - March 20, 2016

Kevin & Dan, I saw the link on the twitter on the left and went and listened to it. I’m still smiling because Dan did keep his promise to all. Maybe I’m a little jealous because I’ve never done that. I think the Courage to complete the promise is what I most admire here in my friend DAN
