Week 5 Opinions or is it my Old Blue Print Murphy

Wow! Where the time go? Time flies when we are having fun.
Week five brought on an interesting challenge of No Opinions Please. I could only imagine or would it be my opinion that for some it would have been easier to eat bugs.
We where halfway through Sunday’s webinar when the MKMMA team fired up a video of a gent talking on the subject of trying one more time. This gent was handicapped and I have seen him many times before. By the time I realized I voiced my taboo end opinion it was too late.. Even if the guy was truly amazing, it still was my opinion. So the week has started.
I think it was Monday when a classmate asked for my opinion about tweepi, she isn’t as tech savvy as I and I responded with: As long as you consider me an expert then I can give you my opinion. Seeing what she was asking was what I already had experience so I felt I was safe. Couple days later while visiting a friend I was asked about my thoughts once more. Here I responded with: you know this week’s coarse requirement is….no opinions. We all laughed. All in all it wasn’t as hard as I thought, but It wasn’t a piece of cake either.

Then came what seemed to be another Murphy call but actually just the old BP bucking again. Maybe they are one in the same.
He heard about me writing my press release. Who will interview me? What paper/magizine are they with? Where do I start? Tree days later and I am finely scratching something on paper. No word limit we are told. Now I heard some of us had reall trouble keeping our DMPs at the 400 word max. Hell I couldn’t get 200 and I was trying. No limit on the press release! This just added more, how do I.
An hour a scratching it out Tuesday night. Then fours typing a draft into WordPress on Wednesday. Thursday another couple of hours proofing before publishing. Still got some pics to add once I resize the ones I want. So what is the word count? Hmmmmm…..2265…holly crap! I think subby was typing again. Yes even while doing this I found myself wanting to add info that would only be my opinion. Gee was there anything I didn’t have an opinion on? Probally not.
Well let’s see what week 6 has in store she’ll we.
Mahalo.

My pleasure Wendy. Putting a smile on one’s face ensures that the day in never lost. For it humbles the soul and warms the heart. Not to mention it kind of smooths out the roughness of the road being traveled at that moment. Glad your back!

Ps. I live your blog site. Enjoy the picture down the side. I’ll have to poke around and see what I can re-create on mine.

Thanks Laura. Looking forward to week 6. I pulled that pic from the net. I’m a bit of a train nut. I keep meaning to blow it up and add it to my train room decor.

Eating bugs eh? THis course is work, but good work! In my opinion, of course! We sure do have OUR OPINIONS! Being aware of so many more things these weeks. Love the Journey. Dan, you have an awesome sleep and time tomorrow on Week 6 already!

I’m always glad to put a smile on anyone’s face. Smiles are like music. They calm the beast within. You will find my press release to be the first link on my side bar.

You got a genuine LOL out of me — “easier to eat bugs” indeed. I love it!! I like your train tracks, too. Nice…
